Extensions tab new UI
We designed a new layout and color scheme for the extension cards and different phone, presence, and location status options. In particular, ringing extensions now can be easily spotted at a glance 👀.
The phone handset icon indicates that there is an ongoing phone call while the whole extension card is blinking. That ensures your coworkers will not be interrupted by colleagues spontaneously as all of them have access to the Voxbi dashboard and phone status of teammates. A tiny improvement but a big step toward more efficient collaboration 🏆.
Show via number
If you are in a call center or a large company with many departments and teams, many inbound calls land in phone queues before they reach your agents. So now, when an incoming call comes via a routing number (a queue), we show it below the caller name (or number).
Thus the call agents know who is calling, and the most qualified person 🎯 can answer the phone and provide better customer service
Prevent page refresh during a call
A page reload in the web-based Voxbi app terminates all ongoing calls ❗. It is vital to keep that in mind as it happens while you are involved in the conversation to hit the reload button accidentally.
To prevent unwanted termination of calls – that will negatively affect your customer’s calling experience, we came up with a handy solution. Instead of reloading, we show an alert warning the user about the consequences.
Extension status sorting order can be changed
Système téléphonique Voxbi is a highly customizable and personalized cloud telephony solution designed to match your team’s needs. From now on, the users can customize the SOOP status sorting order in the Settings tab ⚙️. They can do it based on the personal preference, not a company-wide one .
With a help of a drag-and-drop option, anyone can instantly rearrange their SOOP (presence, phone, and location) status sorting order. Once they decide on the order, they can select the status to be the leading parameter of how their Extensions dashboard will look like ☎️.
Being able to personalize your phone system interface helps you be more efficient during your phone-intensive workday 💦. You have a full control over how to reach out to your teammates depending on their SOOP status. Streamline your communication and collaborate with that Voxbi feature.
Improvements/corrections
Loud ringback tone
You can set the volume of the ringback tone to feel comfortable with it 🔊. The ringback tone is the sound we hear when we call someone. It will follow the output level set by the user for all ringtones. So you do not have to spend extra time setting up specifically your Voxbi ringtone.
Preventing extensions with alpha characters from login in is resolved.
You can now use alpha characters instead of digits only to name your extensions and log into the system. If you find it more convenient for your business to describe your extensions with alphanumeric characters, go for it 👍.
