Bring your own carrier (BYOC)
Keep your existing SIP trunk provider and combine carriers for redundancy.
Bring your own carrier (BYOC) means you connect the SIP trunk provider of your choice directly to Voxbi, rather than being locked into a single carrier that comes bundled with the phone system. Your existing phone numbers, carrier agreements, and rates all stay in place. What changes is the phone system itself, which becomes the full feature set of Voxbi's cloud PBX.
For enterprises, multi-site businesses, and organisations that have already negotiated carrier contracts or operate across regions with different regulatory requirements, BYOC removes one of the biggest migration barriers: the fear of losing a carrier relationship or a phone number that took years to establish.
When you'd use BYOC
A company with offices in multiple countries has different regional carriers in each territory and wants a single, unified phone system across all sites without renegotiating every carrier contract.
A business migrating away from a legacy PBX already has a SIP trunk in place and wants to keep it connected to the new system rather than switching carriers at the same time as changing platforms.
An organisation with strict regulatory requirements in its sector needs to keep its numbers with a carrier that meets specific national compliance rules, while still benefiting from modern cloud PBX features.
