Privacy first, always

Voxbi is a cloud phone system hosted in Europe, and privacy is not something we bolt on at the end. In a web full of cookies and trackers we took a different route.

This site sets no cookies. There is no consent pop-up on voxbi.com, because there is nothing to consent to.

What this means for you

Nothing is stored on your device. We write no cookies and we do not use your browser's storage to recognise you. Two narrow exceptions exist and both are listed below.

No consent pop-up. Nothing to accept, nothing to reject, nothing to configure. You read the page you came for.

No profile of you. Your browsing stays yours. We do not follow you across other websites, we build no advertising profile, and we hand nothing to advertising networks.

What we do measure

We are not going to pretend we count nothing. We measure how many people visit voxbi.com, which pages they read and which links they click, because that is how we learn which pages are useful.

We use Matomo, an analytics tool that runs on our own infrastructure in Europe, configured to store nothing on your device. Every measurement goes straight to our server. Nothing is written to your browser and nothing is read from it.

The consequence is deliberate: we cannot recognise you. Come back tomorrow and it counts as a new visit, with no link to today's. That costs us some accuracy in our own reporting. We think it is the right trade.

Why we do it this way

Consent pop-ups are a nuisance. Knocking twice to open a door is not hospitality, and that is what those banners feel like. We would rather welcome you without the hurdle.

There is a plainer reason too. A phone system carries some of the most sensitive information a business has: who called whom, when, and what was said. A company that tracked you around its own marketing site would not have earned that trust.

Where local storage is still used

Two exceptions, both necessary for something you asked the page to do.

Forms. Our forms come from Tally, a company based in Belgium that operates under GDPR. When a form loads it writes two keys into your browser's local storage: one keeps your answers if the page reloads, the other tells the form it is still the same respondent. We serve our forms from feedback.voxbi.com, a domain we control, so those keys never land on an origin shared with other companies using Tally.

Videos. Some pages embed video from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced host. It stores nothing until you press play.

Neither is used for analytics, advertising or profiling.

Cookies in the Voxbi applications

This policy covers voxbi.com, the website. The Voxbi applications you sign in to, which are Voxbi Cockpit, voxbi.me, voxbi.team and our support ticket system, do use cookies, for one job: keeping you signed in. A login session is what a cookie is genuinely for. No advertising or tracking cookies are set there either.
