Comparison

Voxbi vs Aircall: pricing, calling and SLA compared

Aircall bundles calling into a €30 or €50 licence. Voxbi charges €2.90 plus what you use. Costs compared at 10, 25 and 50 users, checked August 2026.

Voxbi vs Aircall: pricing, calling and SLA compared

Aircall builds calling into the licence. Voxbi sells the phone system and the calling separately, and publishes both prices. For a ten-person team, Aircall's own pricing page quotes €300 a month on its entry plan, before any international calling. Voxbi Managed Business comes to €184.90, and that includes unlimited calling, telephone support, a written uptime commitment and a direct number for every person. But price isn't the only difference that matters. Aircall is ahead on two things: support at the entry tier, and the size of the integration marketplace.

The short answer

Choose Aircall if you are a sales or support team that lives inside a CRM. Their marketplace has roughly 250 native connectors. Salesforce CTI is built into the €50 plan, staffed support is included even at the entry price, and they sell AI voice agents that actually answer inbound calls. If your people call inside the twelve countries in their domestic bundle and you want the calling cost folded into one predictable seat price, that is a real product advantage.

Choose Voxbi if you are buying telephony for a company rather than for a department. You get a full PBX: reception, queues, IVR and desk phones. You also get a published per-minute rate for 667 destinations, and a service level agreement with uptime targets and downtime credits, starting at €5.20 per user rather than needing 25 licences. Voxbi is built and hosted in the European Union, and that applies to call metadata, analytics and AI transcripts as well as to recordings.

Here's the fact most likely to decide it for a regulated buyer. Aircall stores call recordings for EMEA accounts in Germany, but stores voice transcriptions and AI-generated files in the United States, regardless of where the recording sits. That is stated in Aircall's own privacy FAQs.

Which plans are genuinely comparable?

Neither company has an exact counterpart to the other. Comparing our €2.90 self-service plan against their €50 business plan would be misleading. So this page runs two comparisons instead, and states the mismatch in each.

Business-grade, the main comparison. Voxbi Managed Business against Aircall Professional. Both are aimed at a company that wants supervision, analytics and someone accountable when calls stop.

Self-service, the secondary comparison. Voxbi Plus against Aircall Essentials. Both are bought online, both include an API and integrations, neither includes a service level agreement or single sign-on.

Not comparable at all. Aircall Custom. It is the only Aircall plan that carries a service level agreement and SAML single sign-on, it needs 25 licences, and Aircall publishes no price for it. There's no way to compare it fairly against a published Voxbi price, so this page doesn't try.

Where this pairing does not match. Voxbi Managed Business includes an availability commitment, single sign-on and infrastructure monitoring. Aircall gates all three behind a 25-licence quote. Aircall Professional, on the other hand, includes a power dialler, live call monitoring, queue callback and a Salesforce CTI connector, none of which Voxbi offers. Neither list is a rounding error, and both should weigh in your decision.

Secondary comparison: Voxbi Plus against Aircall Essentials

Voxbi PlusAircall Essentials

Where this pairing does not match. Aircall Essentials includes 1,000 bundled outbound minutes per user, and support with a human on the other end. Voxbi Plus includes neither. If you need somebody to pick up the phone when your calls stop, the honest Voxbi comparison is Managed, not Plus.

The closest available pairings. The packages are not identical, and the differences run in both directions.

What comparable packages cost

Assumptions. All figures exclude VAT. Aircall is priced on annual billing, which is their cheaper option, from their published pricing page on 19 August 2026; the same per-licence prices were observed with the country selector set to Luxembourg, France, Germany and Belgium. Voxbi figures come from the Voxbi pricing page. Numbers are charged separately on every Voxbi plan, and the rate rises with the pack: €1.60 each on Voxbi One, €5.70 on Managed Business metered, €8.90 on Managed Business flat. Every Voxbi row here adds one number for the whole company, not one per user, because extensions sit behind the main number on a cloud PBX. On the Aircall rows, numbers are charged at zero. That's the most generous reading for Aircall: their table shows one local or toll-free number included in the plan but doesn't say whether that's per account or per licence. If it's per account, add €6 a month for every additional number. Aircall's international and extended-bundle charges aren't published. They're excluded from these illustrations, not assumed to be zero. Microsoft Teams Phone licences are bought from Microsoft and are excluded from both columns. Neither company publishes a setup fee, so none is assumed. The calling illustration is 60 outbound minutes per user per month, 70% to European fixed lines at €0.021 and 30% to European mobiles at a €0.12 blended rate, taken from the Voxbi rate card.

Main comparison: unlimited calling on both sides

Both plans charge a fixed price per user with calling included, so the totals are shown directly. The Voxbi column adds one number for the whole company at €8.90, not one per user; the Aircall column adds nothing for numbers, which is the reading most generous to them.

UsersVoxbi seats at €17.60Voxbi number, one for the companyVoxbi totalAircall Professional at €50Monthly difference
10€176.00€8.90€184.90€500.00€315.10

50€880.00€8.90€888.90€2,500.00€1,611.10

Aircall publishes no volume discount, so their totals are a straight multiplication. Third-party procurement data suggests larger accounts negotiate roughly a fifth off list. That narrows the gap, but doesn't close it.

If your call volumes are low, Voxbi Managed Business at €11.20 with metered calling costs less again. At ten users: €112 in seats, plus €57 in numbers at €5.70 each, plus roughly €30 of calling on the illustration above, comes to about €199.

If your team shares a main number instead of taking one each, the Voxbi totals fall further. Aircall's bundle does not work that way.

Secondary comparison: self-service plans

UsersVoxbi Plus seatsNumber, one for the companyCallsVoxbi totalAircall Essentials
10€29.00€1.60€30.42€61.02€300.00
25€72.50€1.60€76.05€150.15€750.00
50€145.00€1.60€152.10€298.70€1,500.00

Call arithmetic at ten users: 600 outbound minutes in total, 420 to fixed lines at €0.021 (€8.82) plus 180 to mobiles at €0.12 (€21.60), giving €30.42. Scaled proportionally at 25 and 50 users.

Don't draw the wrong conclusion from this table. Voxbi Plus beats Aircall Essentials on price, not on value. Aircall Essentials includes staffed support and 1,000 bundled minutes per user, and Voxbi Plus includes neither.

Monthly cost on published list prices, excluding VAT, calculated 19 August 2026 on the assumptions stated above.

What "unlimited" covers on each side

Both companies sell unlimited calling and both attach conditions to it. Reading them side by side is more useful than taking either word at face value.

Aircall. Outbound calling is unlimited inside an assigned bundle, not everywhere. Your domestic bundle is chosen automatically from your billing address. Their pricing-page footnote defines domestic minutes as calls within France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Portugal, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. "France" here means metropolitan France only: French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Martin, Saint-Barthelemy, Mayotte and Reunion sit in a separate extended bundle called "France and Overseas Departments", added in stages between August and October 2025, at a price Aircall does not publish. On Essentials the allowance is capped at 1,000 outbound minutes per user per month; on Professional it is uncapped. Anything outside the bundle is priced on request. Aircall publishes no per-minute rate for any destination, and their terms simply invite customers to email sales for the current rates. Calls to premium prefixes and inbound toll-free calls are excluded from every bundle, and their terms reserve the right to impose usage limits even where an unlimited package has been bought.

Countries not in the automatically assigned bundle can still be covered, but only by buying an extended bundle. Luxembourg, for example, appears in four of them: landline only in EMEA Light and North America, and landline plus mobile in EMEA Extended, EMEA Extended+, World and World+. Aircall does not publish what any extended bundle costs and directs customers to their Customer Success Manager.

Voxbi. The flat-rate Managed plans cover unlimited calls to more than 130 destinations under the conditions Mixvoip publishes on its flat-rate page: not available for call centres, not permitted with predictive diallers or other automated calling systems, and fax excluded. Metered plans are billed per minute against a rate card covering 667 destinations, which downloads as CSV or PDF.

Both providers exclude predictive dialling, and both reserve the right to police fair use. The difference: on the Voxbi side, you can read the rate for a call outside the package. On the Aircall side, you can't.

When metered beats bundled. A Voxbi Plus seat with a number costs €4.50 a month before any calling. An Aircall Essentials seat is €30. The €25.50 gap buys roughly 500 outbound minutes at the blended €0.051 rate used above, against Aircall's 1,000-minute Essentials allowance. A team averaging under about eight hours of outbound calling per person per month therefore pays less on metered billing, and a team calling more than that closes the gap. This crossover only applies to calls inside Aircall's bundle countries. Outside them, you can't calculate an Aircall bill from public information at all.

What is included in each provider's calling package, and what falls outside it. Conditions checked 19 August 2026.

Where Aircall is stronger

Support is in the price, at every tier. Aircall includes support on all three plans, with no support gating and no upsell. Their security page states 24/5 coverage across EMEA, APAC and North America, alongside an AI chat assistant available around the clock. Voxbi One includes email support only, on every plan including the €3.10 one. If you want a staffed helpdesk at an entry price, Aircall has it and we don't. Two things Aircall does not publish: a response-time objective, and any commitment about how quickly a fault is resolved. Support is also restricted to account Owners, Administrators and Supervisors; ordinary agents have to raise issues through one of them.

A number is included in the licence. Aircall's plans carry a local or toll-free number, with additional numbers at €6 a month. Voxbi charges for every number, from €1.60 on the self-service line up to €8.90 on Managed Business flat. For a team that wants a direct line for each person, that's a recurring cost that meaningfully narrows the price gap.

The integration marketplace. Roughly 250 native connectors against our two, though their own French site claims only 100+, so the real number a French-market buyer sees may be smaller than the headline figure. Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Intercom, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho and Shopify are all built. We ship Odoo and Microsoft 365 natively. Anything else has to be built on our REST API, which is a project, not a setting. If your CRM is on their list and not on ours, that's a genuine advantage, and it will save you money in integration work.

AI that answers the phone. Aircall's AI Voice Agents handle inbound calls autonomously, take actions such as booking appointments, and transfer to a human with context, priced from €0.19 per minute with 50 free minutes per account each month. Their AI Messaging Agents do the same on SMS and WhatsApp. Voxbi does transcription, summaries and insights on the record. We don't sell anything that picks up the phone. If that's what you're shopping for, we're not in the comparison.

Contact-centre and sales tooling. Power Dialer, Voicemail Drop, live call monitoring, smart routing, queue callback and coaching playbooks are all products we do not have.

Recording retention published on every tier. Aircall publishes retention on all three plans, up to a year on Essentials and unlimited on Professional by request. We publish retention only on the Managed line.

A public status page. status.aircall.io shows live component status and incident history that anyone can read. We publish service level targets, but no status page and no public history. That's a real gap on our side.

Where Voxbi is stronger

An availability commitment that does not need 25 people. Aircall lists a service level agreement as a Custom-plan feature, and Custom requires 25 licences and carries no published price. No SLA document appears anywhere in Aircall's public legal index, so there's nothing to read before you commit. What their terms do contain is a statement that they don't warrant the service will always be available, accessible or uninterrupted. On the Voxbi side, the Mixvoip SLA is published in full: Managed Business carries 99.90% availability, a 3-hour maximum response, a 6-hour intervention target, an 8-hour recovery target and downtime credits of 30% per hour capped at 100% of the monthly fee, with availability calculated monthly rather than averaged over a quarter.

A published price for every destination, and for every number. Our rate card covers 667 destinations, downloads as CSV and PDF, and lets you model your own invoice before you sign. Number prices are published for every plan too. Aircall publishes no per-minute rate for anywhere, and no price for any extended bundle.

You buy only the numbers you need. Because numbers are priced individually rather than folded into the seat, an organisation where most staff work behind a main number pays for a handful of numbers, not one per head. Whether that helps or hurts depends entirely on your numbering plan.

Where your data actually sits. Voxbi is built and hosted in the European Union, and that covers calls, recordings and metadata alike. Aircall's own privacy FAQs are more complicated: for accounts opened after 3 May 2022 with an EMEA sign-up number, call recordings and voicemails are held on AWS in Frankfurt, which is genuinely in the EU. But the same document states that all other personal information is stored on AWS US West servers in Oregon, and specifies that this includes voice transcriptions and AI-generated files from those transcriptions, regardless of where the underlying recording is stored. Their AI features are processed by Microsoft Corporation as the foundation-model provider. If your compliance team has to name a country for each category of data, that's two answers on their side and one on ours.

Total cost. On published list prices, with one phone number for the whole company on the Voxbi side and none charged on the Aircall side, the business-grade basket comes out at roughly a third of the Aircall figure, and the self-service basket at roughly a fifth. That's a different charging model, not a promotional rate.

Whole-company telephony rather than a department tool. Reception, call queues, IVR trees, wake-up calls, emergency routing, door intercoms and DECT handsets are all part of the product, and desk phones are provisioned as part of the managed service. Aircall publishes no desk-phone programme; their clients are a desktop app, a web app, mobile apps and a Chrome extension.

Someone comes to site. On the Managed line we publish the territory where we attend in person: Luxembourg and Belgium in full, plus named regions of Germany and France. Aircall publishes no on-site offering.

Numbers where Aircall does not go. Aircall's published country list runs to 38 countries. Four EU member states are absent from it: Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Malta. Aircall invites buyers in unlisted countries to get in touch, so this is friction, not a wall. But it's friction you won't meet with a local operator.

Multi-company Odoo. Aircall's own help centre states that their Odoo integration does not support a multi-company Odoo environment. The Voxbi Odoo integration starts on the Plus plan at €2.90 per user.

Microsoft Teams that carries the call. Voxbi's Teams integration is managed Direct Routing, so Teams itself carries the call over our network, at €50 per month flat regardless of headcount. Aircall's Teams integration places their dialler and contact cards inside the Teams window, which is useful and is a different thing.

Live queue supervision in the Voxbi Cockpit. Captured 01-09-2026, personal data removed.

Switching from Aircall

Two dates matter and they are not the same date.

The renewal date. Aircall subscriptions renew automatically for a further period of the same length unless either party gives written notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before the current term ends. There is no right to terminate for convenience. Their terms also state that User Licences and Number Licences cannot be reduced during the initial term or any renewal term, so if your team has shrunk you are paying for the original count until renewal. On termination, outstanding fees fall due within 30 days.

The porting date. Porting a number out does not cancel your subscription, and the two have to be done separately. Plan for a short overlap where both providers are being paid.

A workable order of operations:

  1. Find your initial term end date and diarise the 30-day non-renewal deadline.

  2. Serve written non-renewal notice, separately from anything to do with porting.

  3. Export what you need. The Aircall dashboard exposes the last six months of calls and recordings, and recordings can also be downloaded or pulled by webhook. Aircall's published retention runs to 30 days after the relationship ends.

  4. Raise the port-out request and let it complete before closing the account.

  5. Remove numbers from the Aircall dashboard once ported, or billing continues.

  6. Rebuild call flows, menus and queues in the Voxbi Cockpit. There is no import path between the two systems and greetings are re-recorded.

  7. Test, then cut over.

Your numbers come across. Users, extensions and permissions are created fresh and can be provisioned from your directory. Contacts arrive through Microsoft 365 or the Odoo integration rather than from Aircall. What does not travel: call history, recordings, AI Assist output, call scores and any AI Voice Agent configuration.

Handsets are worth checking early. If your team is on softphones only, there's nothing to reuse, and nothing to lose. Any existing SIP phones should be checked against our tested device list before you count a saving.

The sequence for leaving Aircall. Only the 30-day non-renewal notice is a fixed deadline; porting duration varies.

Common questions

How much does Aircall cost per user in euros?

Aircall publishes €30 per licence per month for Essentials and €50 for Professional on annual billing, rising to €40 and €70 on monthly billing. Both require a minimum of three licences, so €90 per month is the real entry point. The Custom plan requires 25 licences and has no published price. Prices exclude VAT and were checked on the Aircall pricing page on 19 August 2026.

Does Aircall include phone numbers and calls?

One local or toll-free number is included in the plan, with additional numbers at €6 per month; their table doesn't say whether that one number is per account or per licence. Inbound calls are unlimited except on toll-free lines. Outbound calling is included only inside an assigned domestic bundle, capped at 1,000 minutes per user per month on Essentials and uncapped on Professional and Custom.

How much do Voxbi phone numbers cost?

Numbers are billed monthly and are never folded into the seat price. The rate rises with the pack: €1.60 each on Voxbi One, then €3.30 on Managed Essential, €4.70 on Professional and €5.70 on Business and Enterprise, or €6.50 to €8.90 on the flat-rate tiers. Current figures are on the Voxbi pricing page.

Does Aircall have a service level agreement?

Their pricing page lists a service-level agreement as a feature of the Custom plan, which requires 25 licences. No SLA document appears in their public legal index, so there's nothing to read before signing. Their terms state that they don't warrant the service will always be available or uninterrupted. Voxbi's SLA applies to the Managed line and is published in full, with uptime targets, response times and downtime credits.

Which countries are in Aircall's calling bundle?

The footnote on their pricing page defines domestic minutes as calls within France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Portugal, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. Your bundle is assigned automatically from your billing address. Other countries can be reached through extended bundles, whose prices Aircall does not publish.

Are French overseas departments included in Aircall's bundle?

No. "France" in Aircall's domestic bundle means metropolitan France only. French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Martin, Saint-Barthelemy, Mayotte and Reunion sit in a separate extended bundle, added in stages between August and October 2025, at a price Aircall does not publish. Voxbi's rate card publishes a per-minute rate for each of these destinations.

Can I get a Luxembourg number from Aircall?

Luxembourg is not on Aircall's published list of 38 countries, alongside Bulgaria, Cyprus and Malta. Aircall invites buyers in unlisted countries to get in touch to find a solution. Voxbi provides Luxembourg numbers through Mixvoip, a notified Luxembourg operator, including porting.

Where does Aircall store call recordings and transcripts?

Recordings and voicemails for accounts opened after 3 May 2022 with an EMEA sign-up number are stored on AWS servers in Frankfurt. All other personal information, which their privacy FAQs specify includes voice transcriptions and AI-generated files, is stored on AWS US West servers in Oregon regardless of where the recording sits. Voxbi is built and hosted in the European Union across all of these categories.

Is support included on both?

On Aircall, yes, on every plan, staffed 24/5 across EMEA with a 24/7 AI chat assistant, though no response-time objective is published and only Owners, Administrators and Supervisors can raise a ticket. On Voxbi, every Voxbi One plan includes email support, but telephone support, web chat and a service level agreement start with Voxbi Managed at €5.20 per user per month.

Does Aircall work with Odoo?

Yes. The integration is built by their certified partner Caret IT, is available at no extra cost on any plan, and covers Contacts, CRM and Helpdesk, though Helpdesk is unavailable on Odoo Community. Aircall's own documentation states that it does not support a multi-company Odoo environment, and AI transcriptions and summaries reach the Odoo record only with an Aircall AI subscription. Voxbi's Odoo integration starts on the Plus plan at €2.90 per user.

Does Aircall support Microsoft Teams Direct Routing?

Aircall publishes a Teams integration that places their dialler and contact cards inside Teams. Direct Routing, where Teams itself carries the call over an operator's network, is a different architecture and is what Voxbi provides at €50 per month flat.

Can Aircall raise the price during my contract?

Their published terms allow the fixed fees to be revised, including during the initial term, on at least 30 days' notice, and treat continued use of the service as acceptance of the new fees. On annual plans, notice of a renewal increase comes at least 45 days before the term ends.

What is the minimum number of Aircall licences?

Three on Essentials and Professional, twenty-five on Custom. Voxbi has no minimum on the self-service plans and a free plan for up to three users.

The verdict

If you're equipping a sales or support team that works inside a CRM, calls mostly within Aircall's bundle countries, and wants conversation intelligence and AI agents without running any infrastructure, Aircall is a strong product. The marketplace and support are worth paying for. Their pricing is high relative to the market, but it isn't arbitrary. You're buying integration depth, a number in the licence, and a staffed helpdesk at the entry tier.

If you're buying telephony for a company rather than a department, the answer changes. On comparable packages with a direct number for everyone, Voxbi costs roughly a third of the business-grade figure and roughly a fifth of the self-service one. It publishes a rate for every destination and every number so you can model your own bill, offers a written availability commitment without a 25-licence floor, keeps every category of data inside the European Union, and sends an engineer to site in our core markets. What you give up is the connector marketplace, the power dialler and live coaching, AI agents that answer calls, and a number bundled into the seat.

The honest summary: these are two different products at two different prices. The real question usually isn't which is better, but whether you're buying a phone system or a calling layer.

If the baskets above don't match your situation, send us your call volumes and the countries you call, and we'll price it properly.

Sources

All read or captured on 19 August 2026 unless stated.

Internal note, remove before publishing. Corrected 27 August 2026: the page previously showed Voxbi Managed numbers as "included in the managed service" and omitted them from the cost table, and described desk phones as available "from €5.70 per phone per month". The €5.70 figure is the monthly price of a phone number on Managed Business, not a handset rental. Both have been fixed, the main cost table now carries a number line, and the business-grade multiple has moved from "three to four times cheaper" to about half. Image 3 must be rebuilt; the delivered file uses the old €176, €440 and €880 figures.

Three items remain unresolved and are deliberately absent from the copy above. First, the jurisdiction count for Mixvoip regulatory registrations: the campaign brief says 15 and mixvoip.com says 20+, so no count appears on this page. Second, every contractual statement about Aircall (renewal, 30-day notice, no licence reduction, mid-term repricing, warranty disclaimer) is sourced from the Aircall.io Inc terms. EU customers outside France and Spain contract under the separate Aircall SAS Terms and Conditions, which must be read and confirmed before publication. Third, the statement that Aircall is a declared operator in France holding its own French numbering resources comes from a 17 August 2026 check that was not re-verified in this pass; because it is a concession in the competitor's favour, it needs to be accurate. Author byline is currently "the Voxbi team" and should be replaced with a named author.
