Voxbi vs Telavox: plans, features and pricing
Telavox publishes €29 for an unlimited fixed seat but no price for its business tier. Voxbi publishes every tier. Compared at 10, 25 and 50 users.
Axivox is the provider named in Odoo's own VoIP documentation. Voxbi is a Luxembourg and Belgian operator with a native Odoo integration. Compared in full.
If you run Odoo and you are choosing a phone system, Axivox will come up early, because Odoo's own documentation names it. This page sets out what each provider actually gives you, where Axivox is the better answer, and where we are. Everything below was checked on 18 August 2026 against the sources listed at the foot of the page.
If you want the provider Odoo itself documents, and Odoo's own staff use, choose Axivox. That advantage is real and no feature list cancels it.
If you want call transcripts, summaries and caller sentiment written onto the Odoo record, and a price you can work out before you book a meeting, choose Voxbi.
If you have many users who rarely call, look at the pricing model rather than the feature list. Axivox charges no seat fee at all. Voxbi has a per-channel line, Voxbi Channel, for the same shape of business. Both beat paying per user, and they are not the same thing.
| Axivox | Voxbi | |
| What it is | Cloud VoIP telephony from Evocom SRL, Walhain, Belgium | Cloud phone system from Mixvoip, operating across Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and France |
| Named in Odoo's documentation | Yes. One of three verified providers in Odoo 19 | No |
| Writes AI transcripts and summaries to the Odoo record | No published capability | Yes |
| Billing model | Consumption only. No licence, no seat fee | Per user, or per concurrent call on Voxbi Channel, plus numbers, plus metered calls |
| Published price list | No. Quote or demonstration only | Yes, in full, plus a downloadable rate card |
| Notified Belgian operator | Yes, IBPT operator 4249, register of 13 July 2026 | Yes, IBPT operator 3870, same register |
| Free tier | None published | Yes, up to three users |
| Best fit | Odoo shops, and any business whose calling is occasional enough that a pure consumption model beats a monthly floor | Teams that want call content on the CRM record and a price they can check before calling sales |
We would rather you read this from us than find it out later.
Odoo documents Axivox, and does not document us. Odoo's own product documentation states that the Phone app supports three verified providers by default: Axivox, DIDWW and OnSIP. Axivox has been documented since Odoo 14.0, in a section running to eight pages covering provider setup, user management, voicemail, dynamic caller ID, conference calls, dial plans and call queues. Odoo has produced its own videos covering that configuration. If your question is "what does Odoo recommend", the honest answer is not us. See Odoo's Phone documentation.
Their billing model has no floor and ours does. Axivox charges no licence and no options and bills what you consume. We have a per-channel line, Voxbi Channel, for teams with more users than simultaneous calls, but even that starts at three channels. If your calling is genuinely occasional, a pure consumption model is cheaper than any floor we offer. That is a structural advantage, not a trick of presentation, and it decides some deals on the merits. The arithmetic is set out below.
We charge for every number and they may not. On Voxbi, each phone number is a separate monthly line, from €3.30 to €8.90 depending on the pack. Axivox publishes no number price at all, so we cannot say whose is cheaper. What we can say is that on our side it is a real recurring cost that grows with the number of direct lines you hand out, and it is in the tables below rather than in a footnote.
Their dial plan editor is a strong product. It is their flagship feature, it is documented in depth by Odoo, and customers build real routing logic in it: queues with round robin and ring-all strategies, a dispatcher that routes international callers by country code, user groups, schedule and holiday calendars, and on-call switching. Anyone telling you it is basic has not used it.
They publish numbering reach we do not match. Axivox states numbers across five continents, 100 countries and 5,600 area codes. Our self-service catalogue is smaller. If you are opening offices on three continents, that gap is real.
Axivox sells one product. There are no published tiers, no published feature gating, and no published price, so there is no tier ladder to line up against ours. What can be matched is the shape of the service.
| If you are comparing | The closest Voxbi line | How close is it? |
| Axivox, self-service, you build the routing | Voxbi One Plus, €2.90 per user per month | Reasonably close on features. Both give you Odoo, IVR, queues and routing you configure yourself. Support is email on both sides. Neither carries a service level agreement with credits |
| Axivox, where you have far more users than simultaneous calls | Voxbi Channel, €14.50 per channel per month, minimum three channels | The fairest structural match, because neither charges by headcount. Axivox goes further and charges no channel fee either |
| Axivox, where you need someone to answer the phone and a written availability commitment | Voxbi Managed Business, €11.20 per user per month, or €17.60 with calls included | Not a like-for-like package. Managed adds telephone support, a service level agreement with downtime credits, PBX monitoring, SSO and 365 day call history. Axivox publishes none of those. It is the right pairing if that is what you are buying, and it costs several times more than their model is likely to |
One gate worth knowing before you price us: on the self-service line, the Odoo integration starts at Plus. Free and Starter do not include Odoo, Microsoft 365, analytics or API access. If you are here because of Odoo, Plus at €2.90 is our entry price, not the €1.20 headline.

Axivox does not publish prices. Every route on their site ends at a quote request or a booked demonstration, and there is no per-minute rate, no number price and no rate card to read. We are not going to guess at their numbers and put the guess in a table.
What we can do is publish ours and tell you exactly what to ask them for.
Voxbi's plans, numbers and per-destination call rates are all on the Voxbi pricing page, including a rate card you can download and check line by line. Calls are metered, numbers are charged separately on every line we sell, and both appear in the totals we publish rather than in a footnote.
If you are comparing us with Axivox, ask them in writing for these seven figures. With them you have a comparison. Without them you have a feeling.
Price per minute to your five most-called destinations
Price per phone number per month
Number activation fee
Porting fee, in and out
Any setup, project or configuration fee
Call recording storage cost and how long recordings are kept
The minimum commitment, the notice period, and what leaving early costs
That last one matters more than it looks. A product sheet for Axivox, distributed by an official reseller, states a minimum commitment of twelve months. A model with no subscription fee is not the same as a model with no commitment, and the two are easy to confuse.

Assumptions used in every table below:
Voxbi One Plus is the self-service line shown, because the Odoo integration starts at Plus. Free and Starter do not include Odoo.
Voxbi Managed Business Flat is shown for buyers who need telephone support and an availability commitment. It is not a like-for-like package with Axivox, which publishes neither.
Numbers are charged separately on every Voxbi line and the price rises with the pack. The tables use €1.60 on Voxbi One and €8.90 on Voxbi Managed Business Flat, both published on the pricing page. One number for the whole company is assumed, not one per user: extensions sit behind the main number on a cloud PBX.
Metered Voxbi calling assumes 60 outbound minutes per user per month at a blended Belgian rate of €0.0686 per minute, being 60% to fixed lines at €0.021 and 40% to mobiles at €0.14. Your own mix will differ.
Prices exclude VAT.
Microsoft Teams, hardware and customer-specific implementation are excluded on both sides. Axivox publishes no Microsoft Teams offering, so charging our €50 flat against nothing on their side would not be a fair comparison.
Setup fees are excluded rather than assumed to be zero, on both sides.
The Axivox column cannot be completed. No user price, no channel price, no number price and no per-minute rate is published.

If you prefer Managed with calls metered rather than included, the same three baskets come to €158.86, €388.60 and €771.50, being the per-user subscription plus one €5.70 company number plus the metered call estimate. Numbers are charged on Managed exactly as they are on Voxbi One; only the rate differs.
If some of your people need their own direct dial on top of the shared main number, add €1.60 per extra number on Voxbi One or the Managed rate for each one.
The Axivox column stays empty because we will not fill it with a guess. If you get a written quote, the seven figures above turn this into a real comparison in about ten minutes.

This is the part that decides most of these deals, and it is not a feature question.
Axivox bills consumption and nothing else. No licence, no options, no monthly fee per person, on their own account. So a business with thirty people who each take a handful of calls a week pays them for very little. That is a genuine structural advantage over per-user pricing and it wins on the merits.
We have two answers to it, and one of them is not per-user pricing. Voxbi Channel charges €14.50 per concurrent call rather than per person, with a minimum of three channels, and includes Odoo, analytics and API. Thirty users with five simultaneous calls comes to €72.50 a month on Channel against €87.00 on thirty Plus seats, before numbers and calls on either. Shops, hotels, clinics and workshops usually fit this shape.
Where they still win, and we will say it plainly. Channel has a floor and their model does not. Three channels is €43.50 a month before you have bought a number or made a call. If your calling is genuinely occasional, a pure consumption model is cheaper than any floor we offer, and no amount of included analytics changes that arithmetic.
Where we win. Ours is arithmetic you can do now, from published numbers, without an appointment. Theirs is a quote. Both of us bill per minute for outbound calls and both of us charge for numbers; only one of us publishes either rate.
We do not publish a break-even chart against them, because a break-even needs two rates and only one of them is public.

This is the part most readers came for, and the common mistake is to treat the two as competing implementations of the same thing. They are not.
Axivox is a provider for Odoo's own application. You install Odoo's Phone app, register Axivox as a provider with a websocket address, and enter per-user SIP credentials from the Axivox management portal. The code is Odoo's, the softphone is Odoo's, and Axivox supplies the telephony underneath it.
Voxbi is an integration that puts call content into Odoo. You connect your Odoo instance from the Voxbi side and the module installs itself. After that, calls log themselves on the right contact with time, duration, direction and handler, and the transcript, a short summary and the detected caller sentiment are written onto the record. Context flows the other way too: an incoming number is matched against Odoo and the caller's company, recent calls, open tickets and activities appear before anyone picks up, including on desk phones. See how the Voxbi Odoo integration works. On the self-service line this starts at Plus: Free and Starter do not include Odoo.

Two things are worth knowing before you read too much into the first row.
Being on Odoo's list is a documentation position, not a technical one. Odoo 19 lets you add any provider that offers a SIP server over a websocket connection, under Settings, Integrations, VoIP, Manage Providers. The verified set is not closed either: DIDWW was added to it during 2025. So the advantage Axivox holds here is discovery, which is a large and durable advantage, rather than exclusivity.
Odoo does not support either provider's telephony. Odoo's documentation says that if you hit a problem with your VoIP provider you should contact that provider's support team. That applies to Axivox exactly as it applies to us. "Verified provider" does not mean Odoo fixes it when your calls stop.
We integrate with Odoo Community Edition on self-hosted deployments as well as Enterprise, and Mixvoip is a gold sponsor of the Odoo Community Association. That is a relationship with the community foundation, and it is a different thing from being in Odoo SA's documentation. We are not going to present one as a substitute for the other.
Both companies are notified Belgian operators, so neither of us is a reseller of the other kind. In the IBPT operator register, exported 13 July 2026, Evocom appears under number 4249, notified for fixed telephony. Mixvoip appears under number 3870, notified for fixed telephony, fixed internet access, mobile telephony and mobile internet access. If you want one counterparty for more than the phones, that difference in notified scope is the one to look at. The register is published by the regulator at IBPT.
| Axivox | Voxbi | |
| Support channels | Email 09:00 to 17:00, voicemail out of hours including weekends, two web helpdesks, knowledge base | Email on every plan. Telephone support starts with Voxbi Managed |
| Availability commitment | A figure of 99.8% appears in a reseller-distributed product sheet, alongside a best efforts commitment. No credit mechanism published | Voxbi Managed publishes availability levels with downtime credits. Voxbi One, the self-service line, has none |
| Where data is processed | "In the heart of Europe". No facility or country named | EU data centres |
| Security certifications | None published | ISO 27001 certified, with certificates published for Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg. GDPR, SERIMA and Cybersecurity Made in Europe also published |
| Phone apps | None of their own. Register any SIP client you choose | Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and browser |
| Number pricing | Not published | Published. From €1.60 on Voxbi One, and €3.30 to €8.90 on Managed depending on the pack |
| AI | Trunk AI, a trunk into a conversational AI platform you choose and buy separately | Transcription, summaries and sentiment built in, with published limits by plan |
One row deserves a plain word rather than a table cell. A number is not a service level agreement. The 99.8% figure in that reseller-distributed product sheet sits next to the phrase "best effort", and we found no credit mechanism, no claim process and no definition of how availability is measured. Ours, on the Managed line, has all three. On the self-service line we have no availability commitment at all, and we say so on the same page where we sell it.
You can price us before you talk to anyone. Plans, numbers and per-destination call rates are published, and the rate card is downloadable. That is not a small thing when you are comparing three vendors and two of them want a meeting first.
Call content ends up on the customer record. The transcript, the summary and the sentiment are written into Odoo as part of the phone system, not as a separate AI platform you have to select, buy and wire up. If you want a trunk into an AI platform you have already chosen, Axivox is built for that and we are not.
Your team gets applications we build and support. Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and a browser client, from us. Axivox's own product sheet tells you to bring whichever SIP client you like, which is flexible and also means the softphone is not their problem.
You can buy an availability commitment with a remedy attached. Voxbi Managed publishes availability levels with downtime credits. If your phones stopping costs you money, that is the line to look at, and it is a real step up in price from self-service.
One counterparty covers more. Mixvoip is notified in Belgium for fixed and mobile telephony and fixed and mobile internet, and operates across Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and France.
Numbers port in both directions under the procedures set by the national regulator, and the request is submitted by the provider you are moving to.
Before anything else, find out when your commitment ends. That reseller-distributed product sheet states a twelve month minimum, and no notice period or early exit cost is published, so ask them in writing for all three and plan the move to land at the end of a term.
Dial plans are the work. There is no import path between the two systems in either direction, so routing trees, queues, dispatch rules, user groups and holiday calendars are rebuilt as Voxbi call flows. Recorded greetings are re-recorded or re-uploaded. Call history and recordings held by your old provider do not travel with the number, so export what you need before the account closes.
Handsets usually carry over. Both services are standard SIP and Axivox promotes Snom hardware, so phones are rarely locked. Check your model against our tested device list before assuming a saving.

Does Odoo officially support Axivox?
Odoo's documentation names three verified VoIP providers by default in Odoo 19 and Axivox is one of them, documented since version 14.0. It is a real, long-standing position. Odoo's documentation also says to contact your provider's support team for provider issues, which is true for every provider including us.
Can I use Voxbi with Odoo if Odoo does not list it?
Yes. Odoo 19 lets you add any provider offering a SIP server over a websocket. Separately, we have our own Odoo integration that does more than place calls: it writes the transcript, a summary and the caller sentiment onto the record. Being on the default list and having an integration are different things.
How much does Axivox cost?
They publish no prices. They state that they charge no licence and no options and that you pay for what you consume, and a reseller-distributed product sheet states a twelve month minimum commitment. Ask for the seven figures listed above in writing.
How much do Voxbi phone numbers cost?
Numbers are billed monthly and the rate rises with the pack: €1.60 each on Voxbi One, then €3.30 on Managed Essential, €4.70 on Professional and €5.70 on Business and Enterprise, or €6.50 to €8.90 on the flat-rate tiers. They are never bundled into the user price, on any Voxbi line. Current figures are on the pricing page.
Does Voxbi work with Odoo Community?
Yes, including self-hosted. See Voxbi for Odoo Community Edition.
Which Odoo versions does Voxbi support?
16, 17, 18 and 19.
Which one has a service level agreement?
Voxbi Managed publishes availability levels with downtime credits. Voxbi One does not, and we say so. A reseller-distributed Axivox product sheet gives a 99.8% figure alongside a best efforts commitment, with no credit mechanism we could find.
Do I get a softphone with Axivox?
Not one they make. Their product sheet says you can register any SIP client you choose, and for Odoo users the Odoo Phone app acts as the browser softphone. We ship applications for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
Are both companies regulated operators?
Yes. Both appear in the IBPT register of Belgian telecom operators, Evocom under 4249 and Mixvoip under 3870.
Can I keep my numbers?
Yes, in either direction. Ask about the twelve month commitment before you set a date.
These are two credible providers with different centres of gravity, and the honest answer depends on one question: what is deciding this purchase?
If it is what Odoo documents, Axivox wins, and we would rather tell you than watch you find out. They are in Odoo's default provider list, they have been documented since Odoo 14.0, Odoo's own sales teams use them, and Odoo has made the training videos. That is a durable advantage at the exact moment you are choosing.
If it is what the phone system does with your call data, we win, and the gap is wide. Transcripts, summaries and sentiment on the Odoo record are part of our product. Axivox publishes no native transcription at all, and Trunk AI is a trunk into a platform you would choose, buy and integrate yourself.
If it is cost, neither of us can answer that honestly today, because only one of us has published a number. Ours are on the page above, numbers included rather than tucked away. Get theirs in writing and the comparison takes ten minutes.
If it is what happens when the phones stop, look at Voxbi Managed. Telephone support and an availability commitment with credits are what you are buying there, and they cost real money. A reseller-distributed product sheet gives Axivox a figure of 99.8% beside the words "best effort", with no credit mechanism we could find, and Voxbi One has no availability commitment either. We say that on the same page where we sell it.
Voxbi has a free plan for up to three users and a two week trial with no card and no sales call. Connect your Odoo instance, make some calls, and see what lands on the contact record. Start on the Voxbi pricing page.
