Voxbi vs Zoom Phone: 2026 pricing and calling compared

Zoom Phone Global Select is €20.24 per user; Voxbi One Plus is €2.90 plus €1.60 a number. Published prices, per-minute rates and costs at 10, 25 and 50 users.

Voxbi vs Zoom Phone: 2026 pricing and calling compared

If you are pricing Zoom Phone for a European team, the number that matters is €20.24 per user per month. That is Zoom's Global Select plan, the cheapest one that gives a user in France, Germany or Belgium a local number and unlimited calling inside their own country. Voxbi One Plus is €2.90 per user plus €1.60 for a number, with calls metered. At business grade the two converge almost exactly: Voxbi Managed Business on the flat rate is €26.50 a user all-in, and Zoom Business Plus is €26.68. At that point the price stops being the question and what the seat actually buys becomes the question.

The short answer

Choose Zoom Phone if your organisation already runs Zoom for meetings, if you have people in several countries and want one carrier relationship instead of five, or if you need things Voxbi does not ship: a Linux desktop client, analog and paging device support, bring-your-own-carrier, or on-site survivability if the internet drops.

Choose Voxbi if you are buying a phone system rather than a platform, if your calling touches Luxembourg or Belgium, if you want telephone support and a service level that arrive with your plan rather than with your spend, or if you want the company that holds your number to be a European operator you can contract with under European law.

Both are real cloud phone systems. Zoom's published telephony feature list is deeper than most of its competitors' and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

Which plans are genuinely comparable?

Zoom's plan lineup changes depending on the country you select on its pricing page. Select the United States and you are offered US & Canada plans. Select a European country and you are offered Global Select, Pro + Global Select and Business Plus, priced in euros. Zoom's product marketing pages, including the French-language ones, still lead with the US and Canada plans — a genuine inconsistency, and the pricing page is the one that governs what you can buy.

That gives two fair pairings.

Self-serviceBusiness grade
VoxbiVoxbi One Plus — €2.90/user, no number included, calls metered, email supportVoxbi Managed Business (flat) — €17.60/user + €8.90/number = €26.50, unlimited calling, telephone support, SLA
ZoomGlobal Select — €20.24/user, one local number, unlimited domestic calling in the selected country, international meteredBusiness Plus — €26.68/user, the same telephony plus Workplace Business

Neither pairing is identical, and the differences run in both directions.

At self-service level, Global Select bundles the number and the domestic minutes into the seat; Voxbi One Plus includes neither. Neither plan carries telephone support or a service-level agreement with credits.

At business grade, the seat prices are eighteen cents apart, but they buy different things. Voxbi Managed Business flat is unlimited to more than 130 destinations, with telephone support, a Business SLA, PBX monitoring and alerts, analytics, API access, single sign-on, external call recording, 365 days of call history and 60 days of recording retention. Zoom Business Plus is unlimited inside one country only — add €9.30 per user for 19 more — and brings all of Zoom Workplace Business with it: 300-participant meetings, unlimited whiteboards and booking pages, device management, multi-region storage.

Secondary, self-service: Voxbi One Plus at €2.90 plus €1.60 per number against Global Select at €20.24. Voxbi One plans include email support; none of them includes telephone support or an SLA with downtime credits. Zoom gates live chat support at accounts over $10 a month and live phone support at accounts over $200 a month — though a separate row on the same pricing page marks 24×7 live chat and phone support as included on every tier. What comparable packages cost

Assumptions, stated before the tables. Sixty outbound minutes per user per month, split 60% to fixed lines and 40% to mobiles, all to French destinations. That gives a blended Voxbi rate of €0.0414 a minute. Zoom's Global Select and Business Plus include unlimited French domestic calling, so those minutes cost nothing on the Zoom side — an assumption that deliberately favours Zoom. One phone number for the whole company throughout on the Voxbi side, not one per user: extensions sit behind the main number on a cloud PBX. Zoom bundles a number into every seat, so its own figures already reflect that. All figures per month, in euros, excluding VAT, on annual billing. Microsoft Teams licences bought from Microsoft are excluded on both sides.

Calling: where the two really differ

Both companies publish a per-destination rate card. Zoom's has two columns — pay as you go, and a lower rate for accounts on a monthly commitment, whose qualifying threshold is not published. Voxbi publishes one rate.

DestinationZoom, pay as you goZoom, on commitmentVoxbi
France, fixed€0.0290€0.0187€0.021
France, mobile€0.1109€0.0716€0.072

Germany, mobile€0.1262€0.0814€0.118
Belgium, fixed€0.2711€0.1749€0.021
Luxembourg, fixed€0.3135€0.2023€0.021
Luxembourg, mobile€0.3373€0.2176€0.11

Read that table honestly and it says two different things.

On the big Western European markets, Zoom is competitive and on committed rates it beats us. €0.0187 to a French landline is below our €0.021. €0.0814 to a German mobile is well below our €0.118. If your calling is French and German and your account qualifies for the committed column, Zoom's minutes are cheaper than ours and we will not pretend they are not.

On the small markets, Zoom is expensive. A Luxembourg landline is €0.3135 a minute pay-as-you-go against our €0.021 — roughly fifteen times. Belgium is roughly thirteen times. Zoom's €9.30 unlimited international add-on covers 19 countries including Belgium, which closes that gap for a Belgian-calling team, but Luxembourg is not on the list, so Luxembourg minutes stay metered whatever you buy. A twenty-five person team making an hour of Luxembourg landline calls each per month would pay about €470 in call charges on Zoom's pay-as-you-go rate and about €31 on ours.

Voxbi's flat rate follows the Mixvoip flat-rate conditions: unlimited calling to more than 130 destinations, but not available for call centres, not permitted with predictive diallers or automated calling systems, and fax excluded. Check those conditions against your usage before assuming unlimited means unlimited.

What each plan's included calling actually covers, at 26 August 2026.

Where Zoom Phone is stronger

Zoom Phone is genuinely stronger on several points. It brings phone, meetings, chat, mail, calendar, whiteboard and AI into one client, one admin portal and one invoice, so a company already running Zoom for meetings can add voice as a line on an existing renewal rather than a separate project. Its published PBX feature list runs deeper than most of its competitors': unlimited auto attendants and IVR, ACD queues, barge, monitor, whisper and takeover, call park, hot desking, shared line appearance, zero-touch provisioning, VDI support, hybrid integration to legacy PBXs and Zoom Phone Local Survivability for failover are all marked as available on every tier. It also covers hardware and devices more broadly than Voxbi does, with analog and ATA support for paging systems and legacy equipment, a bring-your-own-carrier option, and a native Linux desktop client alongside Windows and macOS, which Voxbi does not publish. For a company with offices in several countries, Global Select's single rate plan covering 48 countries and territories with a local number per licence is a genuinely useful consolidation. On calling rates, Zoom is cheaper on committed rates to France and Germany, as the table above shows. Zoom's Terms of Service also state explicitly that it does not use audio, video, chat, screen sharing or other communications-like customer content to train Zoom or third-party AI models. And Zoom carries real analyst recognition: a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for UCaaS five years running, and a Leader in the Forrester Wave for UCaaS platforms in Q3 2025.

Where Voxbi is stronger

Voxbi is stronger in several other places. On entry price, €2.90 plus €1.60 for a number against €20.24 works out 72.6% cheaper at 10 users, 73.1% at 25 and 73.2% at 50. On Luxembourg and Belgian calling, the gap runs to an order of magnitude, and Luxembourg sits entirely outside Zoom's unlimited add-on. Support also arrives with the plan rather than with spend: every Voxbi One plan includes email support, while telephone support, managed operation and a contractual SLA with downtime credits are tied to the Voxbi Managed tier you bought, not to how much you spend in a month. Voxbi publishes its retention figures too: 60 days of call recording and 365 days of call history on Managed Business, against no recording retention period at all on Zoom's pricing page. There is a genuine free tier, Voxbi Free, covering up to three users with two numbers included, plus a separate two-week trial that does not include emergency calling. Voxbi also ships a native Odoo integration from the Plus plan, with click-to-call, call logging and contacts; Zoom's published integration list names Salesforce, Slack, Microsoft, Google, ServiceNow and HubSpot, and we found no Odoo integration on it. On Microsoft Teams, Voxbi runs managed Direct Routing so Teams itself carries the call, at €50 a month flat; Zoom publishes a Teams integration that lets you place calls from inside Teams, but whether it includes certified Direct Routing is not stated on the pages we reviewed. And the contracting party is a European one: Mixvoip SA is a Luxembourg company with registrations published across European jurisdictions, while Zoom's terms name Zoom Communications, Inc. of San Jose, with its only named alternative being an Indian subsidiary.

Hosting, security and who holds your contract

Voxbi is built and hosted in the European Union, so calls and data stay within EU borders, and Mixvoip publishes its ISO 27001 certification on its accreditations page. The contracting party is Mixvoip SA of Steinsel, Luxembourg.

On the Zoom side, what we could verify from the public pages is narrower. Business Plus lists multi-region storage and media control among its included extras, which means region selection is a product feature at that tier. FedRAMP Moderate compliance is marked on every plan. We did not review Zoom's Trust Center or its Global Data Processing Addendum in preparing this page, so we make no claim in either direction about ISO 27001, SOC 2 or where Zoom Phone recordings are stored — ask Zoom for those in writing, and ask for them in the contract rather than on a web page.

The contractual differences are clear from Zoom's published Terms of Service. Californian law governs. Jurisdiction and venue are the state courts of Santa Clara County, California and the federal courts of the Northern District of California. Disputes go to binding arbitration, with a jury-trial waiver and a class-action waiver, and claims must be filed within one year. Charges are non-cancelable and non-refundable for the subscription term, you must maintain your minimum quantity of licences for the whole term, and Zoom may change prices at any time on thirty days' notice, effective at your next renewal, with continued use treated as acceptance.

One more thing worth reading before you deploy either product: Zoom's emergency calling notice. Zoom Phone routes emergency calls on a Registered Location that each user supplies and must update whenever they move, with a possible delay before an updated address becomes usable. For certain ported numbers, emergency calling may be unavailable until address validation completes, and Zoom advises keeping an alternative phone service to hand. Much of this is inherent to nomadic VoIP and applies to us too — we mention it because it is the kind of thing that surfaces after go-live rather than during a demo.

Switching from Zoom Phone

Check your renewal date first. Zoom subscriptions renew automatically unless you give notice at least thirty calendar days before the next renewal term, through the billing portal or by email to Zoom's renewals address. Charges are non-refundable for the term you are in, and you cannot reduce your licence count mid-term. For most companies the sensible move is to plan the switch to land at the end of a term.

Export before you close the account. Zoom's terms give you thirty calendar days after termination to retrieve your customer content, after which it is deleted. Zoom does not publish a call recording retention period, so if recordings matter to you, export them rather than assuming they will still be there.

Porting. Zoom offers inbound porting and states that existing business numbers can be transferred with no hidden fees. Zoom does not publish its porting-out process, deadlines or cost, so ask for all three in writing before you commit to a date. We are not going to invent a timeline for you: ask both providers for a written porting date and hold them to it.

What has to be rebuilt. Call flows, IVR menus, queues, ring policies and time-based routing are rebuilt in the Voxbi Cockpit; there is no import path between the two systems. Greetings and hold music are re-recorded or re-uploaded. Anything built against Zoom's APIs is re-created against the Voxbi API. The emergency-calling address is registered fresh.

Handsets. Usually reusable. Both services run standard SIP and Zoom's model supports plug-and-play VoIP phones from Mitel, Yealink and Poly. Check your model against the Voxbi tested device list before assuming a saving.

Frequently asked questions

How much is Zoom Phone in euros?

With a European country selected, Zoom publishes Global Select at €20.24 per user per month, Pro + Global Select at €22.66 and Business Plus at €26.68, excluding VAT on annual billing. Prices are on Zoom's pricing page but render only in a browser.

Does Zoom Phone include a phone number?

Yes. Global Select and the two tiers above it include one local direct dial number per licence in the country you select, plus unlimited calling inside that country. Additional numbers are €4.65 each per month. Voxbi's paid self-service plans include no number; they start at €1.60 each.

Is international calling included with Zoom Phone?

No. It is metered against Zoom's published rate card, which covers more than 150 countries and regions. There is an optional add-on at €9.30 per user per month giving unlimited calling to 19 countries: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Puerto Rico and Japan. Luxembourg is not included.

Does Zoom Phone have a free plan?

No. Zoom offers a free trial of Zoom Phone; its length and limits are not stated on the pages we reviewed. Voxbi has a free plan for up to three users with two numbers included, plus a separate two-week trial.

Is telephone support included with Zoom Phone?

Zoom's comparison table states that live chat support is for accounts with subscriptions over $10 a month and live phone support for accounts over $200 a month. A separate row on the same page marks 24×7 live chat and phone support as available on all plans. Ask Zoom to confirm which applies to your account size. On Voxbi, every plan includes email support; telephone support and an SLA with credits come with Voxbi Managed.

How long does Zoom Phone keep call recordings?

Zoom's pricing page does not publish a retention period. Its terms give you thirty days after termination to retrieve content. Voxbi publishes retention by tier — 60 days of recordings and 365 days of call history on Managed Business.

Can I use Zoom Phone with Odoo?

We found no Odoo integration among the integrations Zoom names on its product and pricing pages. Voxbi ships a native Odoo integration from the Plus plan.

What does it cost to leave Zoom Phone?

There is no early-termination fee published, but charges are non-cancelable and non-refundable for the term you are in, and you cannot reduce licence count mid-term. Cancelling stops the auto-renewal; it does not refund the current term.

Verdict

For a company already standardised on Zoom, with offices in several countries and a preference for one vendor and one client, Zoom Phone is a defensible choice and the platform argument is a real one. If your calling is concentrated in France and Germany and your account is large enough for Zoom's committed rates, Zoom's minutes are cheaper than ours.

For everyone else the arithmetic points the other way. At self-service level Voxbi costs 72.6% to 73.2% less fully loaded, depending on headcount. At business grade the seat prices are within eighteen cents of each other, but Voxbi's seat includes unlimited calling to more than 130 destinations, telephone support, a service level with credits and published retention figures, while Zoom's includes unlimited calling in one country and a productivity suite you may already own. And if any meaningful share of your calling goes to Luxembourg, Zoom's rate card makes the decision for you.

The honest summary is that these two products are priced for different maps. Zoom prices the large markets keenly and the small ones badly. If your business lives in the small ones, that is not a detail.
