Call forwarding
Redirect incoming calls to another number or device so nothing is missed.
Call forwarding sends an incoming call to a different number or device, either instead of the original destination or alongside it. The result is simple: if you step away from your desk, a call to your extension can ring your mobile at the same time, so the caller gets through regardless of where you are.
For businesses where being reachable matters (field teams, managers on the move, remote workers, shared reception lines), forwarding removes the gap between a missed ring and a missed opportunity. The call follows the person, not the desk.
When you'd use call forwarding
A staff member splits time between office and client sites and needs their desk extension and mobile to ring together, so calls are never missed.
A small team shares a single reception number and wants incoming calls to overflow to a personal mobile when nobody picks up at the main extension within a set time.
An on-call employee needs all business calls redirected to their personal device outside office hours, without sharing that number with callers.
