Custom greetings
Upload a sound file or use multi-language text-to-speech in a voice you pick.
A custom greeting is the first thing a caller hears. It sets the tone before anyone on your team has said a word. Voxbi lets you create professional audio prompts in three ways: upload a recording you already have, record a new one, or type the words you want and let the built-in text-to-speech engine turn them into speech. The result is an announcement file you can drop into any part of your call flow.
Greetings live inside Voxbi's sound file library, which means you manage them in one place and reuse them wherever you need. A welcome message for your main number, a queue announcement telling callers their position, a voicemail prompt for an absent team member: all of these draw from the same pool of audio files, and changing a file once updates it everywhere it appears.
When you'd use custom greetings
A professional services firm that wants its main number answered with a branded welcome message before the IVR menu appears, rather than a plain ringtone.
A support team that needs different hold announcements for different queues, so callers hear relevant information for the product or service they called about.
A small team with limited recording equipment that wants polished audio: they type the script, choose a voice from the text-to-speech engine, and have a finished file in seconds.
