Do not disturb (DND)
Block interruptions during focus time and control exactly when you are reachable.
Do not disturb (DND) stops incoming calls from ringing on your device. Activate it and callers are redirected according to your existing routing settings: to voicemail, to a colleague, or to whichever fallback your call flow defines. Your phone stays quiet; the caller still gets an answer.
This is distinct from silencing your device. Putting a phone on silent only mutes the sound. The Voxbi app still receives the call and your device still shows the screen notification. Do not disturb works one level earlier: when Do not disturb is active, the call does not reach your device at all. For genuine uninterrupted time, you need both: Do not disturb in Voxbi to stop the call arriving, and your device's own silent mode if you want to suppress any other notifications.
When you'd use Do not disturb
During a client meeting or a deep work block, when you need your screen and attention fully on what is in front of you and cannot afford a ringing phone.
Outside your working hours, when you are logged into the Voxbi app on your personal device but have finished for the day and do not want calls reaching you until morning.
When travelling or commuting, and you want calls to go straight to voicemail rather than ring through on mobile data in a noisy environment.
