Windows app hooks
Open your local ERP or CRM with the caller’s profile the moment the phone rings.
Windows app hooks let the Voxbi desktop app for Windows communicate with other software on your computer at the moment a call arrives. The most common use is a screen pop: when your phone rings, Voxbi triggers your local business software and passes it the caller's number, so the application can open the right client record, ticket, or profile without you having to search for it. The reverse also works: other Windows applications can instruct Voxbi to start a call, so dialling from your business software does not require switching to a separate phone interface.
This is the kind of connection that used to require a dedicated computer telephony integration project. With the Voxbi Windows app it is built in, and it works with local business software that supports being triggered by an external event or link.
When you'd use Windows app hooks
A customer support team whose agents use a locally installed helpdesk or ERP, and where every second spent searching for a caller's record during the call is a second the customer is waiting.
A sales team with a Windows-based CRM, where having the account open automatically as a call connects means the conversation can start with context, not a search.
Any Windows user who wants outbound calls to start from inside their business software, rather than manually switching to the Voxbi app to dial.
